When I graduated from chiropractic college in 1981 and started practice, I heard it all, and very little was positive. “You are a quack; you do not know what a subluxation is; you couldn’t get into a real health care program, so you chose the one that is slightly above a mail-order degree; you have no proof that chiropractic works; Are you really licensed?”, and so much more.
| Digital ExclusiveChiroLocator Goes International
Chiroweb.com's Chirolocator has been expanded to include chiropractors from outside the U.S. DCs and patients can now locate a friend or colleague abroad with just a few keystrokes.
There are four ways visitors to the ChiroLocator can find the name and address of a local chiropractor: Users can search by a DC's last name, first initial (e.g., Smith, J); by city/state (limited to the first 15 letters in a city's name); by zip code (limited to chriopractors located in the U.S.); or by city/province/country for international DCs. The more information entered, the more restrictive the search results will be.
Chiroweb.com prohibits those who use the referral directory from collecting names for commercial use. Users must agree to the policy before conducting a search on the ChiroLocator. This policy protects chiropractors from receiving unsolicited or "junk" e-mail by third-party vendors.
To access the ChiroLocator, visit chiroweb.com's home page and click on the "Referral Directory of DCs" link. Users can also visit the ChiroLocator directly at www.chiroweb.com/locator.
