As we go to press, over 1,000 doctors of chiropractic have registered to participate on ChiroWeb's DCs Only Forum (our online discussion forum for DCs only). This number represents a more-than-400% increase since ChiroWeb switched to a password-based registration system for its discussion forums in October.

We encourage you to register to join the DCs Only Forum at your earliest convenience. To register, click on the "Discussion Forums" box on ChiroWeb's homepage. That will take you to a list of forums, the first being the DCs Only Forum. If you haven't already registered, you must click on the "Start Here" link. That takes you to a screen where you'll enter your personal ID and password that was provided to you on the front page of the November 15, 1999 issue of DC. UnitedHealth Group, parent company of UnitedHealthcare, has announced sweeping changes to its prior-authorization (PA) requirements that will eliminate the requirement for chiropractic care and numerous other healthcare services by the end of 2026. Doctors of chiropractic, other providers and patients have long lamented prior authorization requirements because they can delay needed treatment, limit access and even cause some patients not to pursue care.
