Help Fight Prior-Authorization Requirements
UnitedHealthcare (UHC) recently announced it is ending prior authorization for chiropractic services (see the top story in our July issue), but numerous other insurers still require it, which means chiropractic’s fight is far from over. Enter the Chiropractic Future Reimbursement Workgroup, which offers a complimentary Prior Authorization Communication Toolkit to all chiropractors. The purpose of the toolkit is to help you “clearly and confidently explain how prior authorization policies are harming patients, delaying recovery, and interfering with effective care.” To access the toolkit, click here.
Cleveland-KC Makes History
Cleveland University-Kansas City has received accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education for CUKC’s Certificate in Strength and Conditioning program. The first post-baccalaureate/graduate certificate in strength and conditioning approved by CASCE provides “a flexible, accredited pathway toward the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam.”
New WFC Executive Team
The World Federation of Chiropractic board recently elected executive officers for 2026-2028: President: Dr. Ryan Coster; Vice President: Dr. Holly Tucker; and Secretary-Treasurer: Dr. Yi Kai Wong. The board will work with Interim Secretary-General Dr. John Maltby as an executive search committee begins the process of recruiting and selecting the next WFC secretary-general.
