The International Chiropractic Education Alliance (ICEA), designed to support chiropractors worldwide, has been established to provide “a unified voice for the advancement of chiropractic education standards and practices worldwide,” according to the World Federation of Chiropractic, which announced the launch of the new organization earlier this year.
"The establishment of the ICEA marks a significant milestone in the evolution of chiropractic education," said Dr Kendrah Da Silva, WFC president, in a release announcing the ICEA. "By creating this dedicated alliance, we are providing educators with the resources and platform needed to enhance the quality and consistency of chiropractic training on a global scale."
According the WFC, key functions of the ICEA include facilitating collaborative connections among chiropractic educators / experts, working with accreditation organizations to ensure optimal standards, offering guidance / support on developing new chiropractic educational programs, advocating for chiropractic educators within the chiropractic profession and health care at large, and planning / executing international conferences with the goal of “promoting continuous learning and development in chiropractic education.”
